April Lin

April Lin is an expressive and imaginative pianist, both in solo and collaborative performances. She started her studies under a famous professor Zhu Ya Fen. After graduating from Shen Yang Music Conservatory, she traveled to Texas and continue to pursue a degree in performance piano with Dr. Banowetz at University of North Texas, national ranking 15 in Music Colleges.  Upon receiving her bachelor degree, she came to San Diego to study with Dr. Follingstad at San Diego State University to get her Master’s degree in piano performance.  As she was attending SDSU she won the SDSU Soloist Competition and the chance to perform a concerto piece with the SDSU orchestra.

She performed as a pianist at Coronado Philharmonia Orchestra since 2021. 
Participated as a jury member in the Pacific Stars International Competition 2023 and Rotary Youth Instrumental Music Competition 2024.
