Jessica Jiang
Piano
Jessica Jiang was born in a musician-artist family and raised in Qingdao, China. Knowing my talent, Jessica began playing the piano at the age of six with professor Wen Guan. Hold a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Shandong University of Art, studied with professor Xiaolong Zhou, a Masters of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California, studied with Professor Kevin Fitz-Gerald. During university, Received scholarships for 4 consecutive years.
Before the masters, Jessica studied two years in East Los Angeles College, studied with Dr. Lucy Nargizyan. While in school, Jessica was a teaching assistant. Jessica has been posted in school newspapers and campus websites many times. Jessica performs in a masterclass with professor Nadia Shpachenko. Jessica also have got scholarships from school for 2 years. After graduation, Jessica still played concertos with the orchestra.
Jessica is the winner of The California Association of Professional Music Teachers Romantic/Impressionistic Competition, China Young Artist Competition, HOPE-CBU International Music Competition in Los Angeles, The World Chinese Young People Art Competition, MTAC Piano Duo Competition in San Diego, China Channel TV Music Competition, The 2nd National Chinese Pieces Art Exhibition Competition, China Young Artist Concerto Competition in Shenzhen, The 5th Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition.
Currently, Jessica has her own studio. Jessica is a dedicated teacher whose students have been prizewinners in many competitions. The students passed the grade exam hundred percent. Jessica holds recitals for students every year. I have been teaching piano for many years and was also invited to participate and served as a jury member in various competitions in China.
